I know a lot of you are interested in my life and what I do on my modeling jobs and also my charity work with "He's Adorable". This blog is from my latest photo shoot that I did with my cousin Kaelynn Jones.
In the photo shoot we first started out with more serious poses. This is something that would be used when modeling onesies or even a new luxury sheet set.

The girls LOVE this pose! |
This photo shows that I'm a thinker as well as a pretty face. This is a photo we would use to model a new brain development formula booster. I also use this pose quite frequently for my work with Little Einsteins and occasionally a Calvin Klein ad.

:-) |
This picture shows that I have a serious side but I also have a great sense of humor. I recently took an improv class and was told that I am a natural. I felt that sticking my tounge out just a little added a sense of fun and whimsy to this picture that my Mommy would love.

Bam Bam! |
This picture is one my favorites. Did you know that before I was born my servants (Mommy and Daddy) called me Bam Bam? This picture shows a lot of love and a certain vunterability that is often hard to translate into film. This is actually one of my "He's Adorable" pictures. It has a lot of influence in Germany and Australia. They love the lighter hair and skin tone. This picture also is big with the 25 - 35 age range because they love the Flintstones (who doesn't?!)

Kaelynn's photo for "She's Adorable"! |
Now, we are getting into the pictures with my little cuz Kaelynn. Kaelynn was born a week and a day after I was. Look at those dimples and those EYES! (Beware guys, her dad was a Marine!) Kaelynn is a freelance model for "He's Adorable" sister organization - "She's Adorable". I've tried to convince her to model full time because with those dimples old ladies hearts just melt but she is determined to make it as a serious news correspondant. She has a lot of fire and is very tenacious which is a huge asset in her field.
When we started the cousin photo shoot we mostly wanted to make art that our grandparents would love, but as the day wore on we realized that we would be denying others joy by keeping these pictures to ourselves.
Our photographer was awsome. She encouraged Kaelynn and I to just act natural. In this first picture Kaelynn is telling me how to make a Similac fritata. I love good food.

Dirty Diapers! YUCK! |
In our next photos we were asked to dig deeper and not simply show the lighter side of life because, let's face it, life as a baby is hard. In the first of these photos we were asked to think of dirty diapers. I felt that the photographer truly captured the pain and disgust that we both feel by having to wait for someone to realize we need a diaper change.
|
Waiting for Food. HUNGRY! |
In the second photo we were asked to express how we feel when we are denied food when we want it. The hunger and the outrage! Can you see how great Kaelynn is? Even when she is expressing extreme anger she still shows her dimples! Now, that is skill!
Kaelynn and I are considering using these two pictures for an ad campaign to stop child abuse caused by dirty diapers and denial of food when wanted. These are two problems that babies face on a daily basis. Parents really should anticipate dirty diapers and change them as they happen. Even one second in a dirty diaper is like a century and should not be accepted. For some reason parents believe that feedings should be scheduled. Do we tell you you have to wait 4 hours between meals?! No! You grab something from the pantry or the fridge, but if we happen to get hungry an hour and a half before our "feeding time" we have a paci stuffed in our pie hole - unacceptable! We want milk! (Sorry, I've been told I'm overly passionate about my food.)
In the end we rounded out our photo session with one more great cousin photo. This is the cover photo for our mother organization "Adorable!" which both "He's Adorable" and "She's Adorable" are a part of.
